We are excited to introduce you to our new robot! The sixth graders worked together on Monday using coding to have the robot spell out "CYPS"! Using coding, we can program this robot to do a lot of fun things! We are all very excited to play around with it and experience the unlimited creativity we can program it to do!
We have some very talented kids in the sixth grade class! I am so proud of Eleanor and Olivia, they did a wonderful job at the talent show! The entire class has also shown their very creative side when building and painting their art sculptures, lots of hidden talent!
The sixth graders combined their knowledge of Newton's Laws of Motion with simple machines to work towards building their own Rube Goldberg machines! They are still a work in progress, but they are definitely coming along!
When learning about magnetism, the seventh graders built their own compass using a sewing needle, petri dish, water, and a magnet. We discovered how a compass is always pulled toward the strongest magnetic field.
